River Goose Camp Site

Situated on the banks of the Breede River and on the farm Eureka, campers will find River Goose Camp Site. It is ideal for those just wanting to relax and enjoy nature while still exploring the towns of the Breede River.

Guests have a choice of twenty grassed campsites. Most have shade and are wheelchair accessible. The sites share two neat ablution blocks with flush toilets, showers and hot water. A shop, wood and braai facilities are available.  We now also have one wooden cabin called the Goose Cabin, with a double bed and kitchenette area.  Ideal for the camper who wants a bit of luxury yet wanting to experience the campsite atmosphere.

Campers can enjoy fishing, swimming and canoeing or birdwatching. Those looking for a bit more to do can visit the Marloth Nature Reserve near the small town of Swellendam, visit Soekershof in Robertson which has 10 hectares of mazes made out of plants.  Mid town Bonnievale is less than 10 minutes from your campsite, with restaurants, shops and wine cellars to explore and enjoy.  Bonnievale and surrounds also offers 4×4 routes, hiking trails, farm stalls, a golf course, fishing dams (catch & release) and breathtaking scenic views on route.

Join us on the idyllic Breede River Goose for a boat trip.  We offer safe swimming from the boat, bass fishing, bird watching along an exceptionally beautiful section of the River.  Additional extra, minimum of 6 people (bookings in advance). Trips dependant on weather and river conditions. You can bring own refreshments or combine the trip with a riverside braai under the giant blue gum trees.

We look forward to welcome you!
